"We loved the spacious and very well maintained property - an ideal base to tour Wensleydale.  Keep the property the way it is!!  Bolton Arms - great food and huge portions.  Beer well kept and a 3 minute stroll.  Enjoyed tour of Black Sheep Brewery and Wensleydale Creamery and some very pleasant walks - perhaps print out a few to put with 'Things to Do' booklet." "We loved the Flax Mill, having more than enough space for us all to not get under each others feet lol and a great base for the area, we made the most of the immediate area, walking around Castle Bolton, Carperby, Aysgarth and Leyburn and went as far as Ripon, Hawes and Barnard Castle, all within an hour in the car, with great scenery along the way, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the week, and was only disappointed how quickly the week went. I'm sure we will look to stay again in the future." Dave
